ウクライナ国立工業大学（キエフ工科大学）は1898年に創立され、世界中で最も歴史のある有名な工科大学の一つに数えられる。17の学部と13の研究所、8つの工学研究センターを有している。32,800人の学生が研究を行っており、世界50カ国から800人におよぶ外国人留学生と約80人の外国人留学生を含む500人の大学院生が学んでいる。留学生のための学部があり、大学のプログラムを学ぶための準備としてウクライナ語・ロシア語・英語および幾つかの学科を学べるシステムをとっている。
キエフ工科大学は、特に冶金関連ではレベルの高い大学であり、環境およびリサイクル関連にも大きな方向性を見出そうとしている。

National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' ranks first nationally, and is world recognized in the number of graduate programs. NTUU KPI was founded in 1898. Since 1898, NTUU KPI remains one of the best technical universities in Europe famous for its academic excellence and innovative research.

The great spirit and the glory of the University that have been created by the famous scientists such as Dmitri Mendeleev, Sergei Korolev, Igor Sikorsky, Stephen Timoshenko, Victor Kirpichev, Eugene Paton and many others, are supported nowadays by fifty-eight Academicians, two thousand Professors, and many great scientists of University's active faculty. Every year NTUU KPI becomes home for fifty thousand students from all over the world.
